In this course that lasts a week (and will be available to you for the rest of the month so you can re-read and copy/paste dreams into your own database) we will incubate dreams that will be loosely based on Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night Dream. Don’t expect large parts of the Shakespearian text to be copy-pasted into the incubations. I have selected the archetypical symbols: animus, anima, night, day, sun, moon, love and how to connect them in a more balanced way.
Hermia is in love with Lysander. But she has to marry Demetrius. Her friend Helena is in love with Demetrius. And even though the first couple likes each other enough to elope,
it is the magic of Puck from the fairy world who messes things up (or clarifies things?). His love potion makes Demetrius and Lysander fall madly in love with Helena…The second night we will visit the fairy world. The third night we will concentrate on the animus in our personality. The fourth night we will dedicate our attention to the anima. The fifth night we will focus on our Trickster energy, as it is represented in a Midsummer Night’s dream by Puck. The sixth night we will make a drawing of the energies we have encountered. the questions presented to you this evening will help you compose your own incubation with ease. The last night we will focus on receiving a gift of magic from the dream realm.
This online course allows you to share your dreams on a forum. I will do my best to help you attach more meaning to them if you require me to do so.
But at the end of the week you will have selected a series of dreams you can re-read and re-interpret yourself as help for the rest of the year.
